We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to join the Kundoo Khan team. This role calls for a natural leader who is passionate about people and efficient in running daily restaurant operations. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure a high-quality dining experience for every guest. Key responsibilities include recruiting, training, developing team members, enforcing food safety and sanitation standards, managing inventory and labor costs, and driving sales growth. The role requires a proactive approach in communication and operational execution to maintain smooth restaurant workflow and build a strong team culture.

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $24 to $31 per hour, along with opportunities for bonuses. Job Requirements

  • 2-4 year of experience in related food service management position preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, and training

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 year of experience in related food service management position preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required
  • Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures in a restaurant
  • Basic knowledge of general business practices
  • Read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math skills and computer competency

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of FOH and BOH Team Members
  • Conduct and supervise the training and development of FOH and BOH Team Members
  • Uphold food preparation specifics by ensuring standard operational procedures are followed for consistent delivery of quality food items
  • Communicate, train and coach Team Members and Shift Leaders on all changes or new procedures, processes, products, promotions, or equipment introduced to the restaurant
  • Conduct Succession Planning 1-on-1s with designated Team Members
  • Ensure Team Members comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform
  • Manage daily operations of a restaurant shift
