The Restaurant Leader role at Alvarado Restaurant Nation is a pivotal position responsible for ensuring that the restaurant delivers top-tier service, quality food products, and a clean, welcoming environment for all guests. Reporting to the Area Coach, the Restaurant Leader supervises the restaurant team members and shift leads, providing clear direction and efficient coordination of daily operations. This exempt position, situated within the Operations department, offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 annually.

In this leadership role, the Restaurant Leader embodies the company’s mission by maintaining rigorous standards for product quality, service speed, and cleanliness. They are expected to present a professional image personally and ensure their team does the same, reinforcing the restaurant's positive reputation. The role requires proactive engagement with customers to continuously enhance their dining experience, quickly identifying and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.

The Restaurant Leader is also a hands-on leader who delegates tasks appropriately, leads by example, and demonstrates sound business ethics and principled leadership. They manage restaurant flow effectively to ensure smooth operations during peak times and use critical business tools to analyze financial data, identify trends, and implement action plans to achieve sales and margin targets. Technical competence in food preparation, production processes, food safety protocols, and basic equipment troubleshooting is essential, alongside detailed knowledge of company product standards.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or GED and have proven supervisory experience within food service or retail environments. They demonstrate the ability to maintain financial controls, coach and train hourly employees, and drive customer satisfaction along with financial and employee performance. Other essential attributes include being a self-starter, enthusiastic about the company’s mission and core values, action-oriented, and an independent problem solver.

This role offers several benefits, including eligibility for a monthly performance-based bonus, medical insurance starting the first of the month after 60 days, a 401K plan after one year, vacation entitlement of two weeks after one year, and sick leave in accordance with state requirements. The position involves standard office work conditions with physical demands such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours, with accommodations available as needed.
