The role of Restaurant General Manager at Fulenwider KFC/Taco Bell plays a pivotal part in the daily operations and overall success of the restaurant. The general manager is responsible for guiding the restaurant team to achieve and maintain the company’s high standards in every area. This includes managing the preparation and delivery of food products, ensuring outstanding guest relations, overseeing maintenance and repair of the facility, and executing sound inventory management practices. Additionally, the general manager leads recruitment efforts, trains and retains hourly managers and team members, and handles financial documentation along with budget control to optimize restaurant profitability.

Job Requirements

  • Follows procedures regarding operation of restaurant equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and carry loads up to 30 feet
  • Ability to push/pull up to 90 lbs and carry up to 30 feet
  • Knowledge of and compliance with company's human resources policies
  • Adheres to company and local safety requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Creates value for shareholders through efficient operations and cost control
  • Maintains highest level of quality, service, cleanliness and hospitality
  • Takes an active role in guest service and guest relations
  • Controls day-to-day operations including labor and product cost tracking
  • Maintains high productivity through recruiting, training and motivation
  • Has routine preventative maintenance program in operation
  • Prepares and submits required reports and manages cash control
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, disciplines and terminates hourly employees
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes and company policies
