Job Description
Sailormen, Inc. is a reputable and rapidly growing franchisee operating over 120 Popeyes restaurants across Florida and Georgia. Founded in 1984, Sailormen, Inc. has established itself as a leader in the fast food industry, bringing high-quality Southern-style fried chicken and other menu items to diverse communities. With a commitment to exceptional customer service and operational excellence, the company prides itself on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where team members are valued and empowered to grow with the business. Sailormen, Inc. emphasizes the importance of its people as the cornerstone of its success, continuously investing in training and development to ensure both individual and organizational goals are met. The company provides opportunities for career advancement within the food service sector, supporting employees with a range of benefits to promote work-life balance and job satisfaction.
The role of the Restaurant Manager at Sailormen, Inc. is pivotal in delivering a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced fast food setting. This full-time position offers an hourly wage ranging from $18 to $20 and includes bonus pay and a comprehensive benefits package featuring health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, employee discounts, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan. The position requires working 45 to 50 hours per week, with the first 40 hours at regular pay and additional hours compensated at time-and-a-half. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and overtime, reflecting the dynamic nature of the food service industry.
As a Restaurant Manager, you will lead and inspire a team committed to excellence, ensuring that all operational standards and company policies are upheld. Responsibilities include training new team members, managing daily production and inventory, maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the back of house and front of house areas, and executing service standards known as KARS (likely key operational procedures or customer service guidelines). You will oversee interviews and onboarding processes, review team schedules and sales forecasts, manage food costs, and conduct regular performance reviews. Managing business metrics such as sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction are critical elements of the role. Furthermore, the Manager will collaborate closely with the Service Manager to address issues promptly, uphold restaurant appearance and safety standards, and foster an engaged and motivated team.
The Restaurant Manager also plays an essential role in community engagement, ensuring that the restaurant is seen as a valuable community partner. By developing bench strength for future leadership roles within the company and implementing effective training strategies through programs such as Popeyes Academy, you will contribute directly to the company’s long-term growth and success. This role not only demands strong leadership and organizational skills but also a passion for the fast food industry and a drive to deliver an outstanding guest experience every day. Working at Sailormen, Inc. means joining a company that values your contribution and provides the tools and support needed to thrive in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
