Job Description

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG) is a dynamic and rapidly expanding multi-brand restaurant company with over 240 locations, operating Taco Bell restaurants across California, Kansas, Missouri, and Nevada, as well as Arby's restaurants in Alaska, California, and Nevada. Established in 2012 with only 30 Taco Bell units, DRG has grown significantly and now boasts a workforce of more than 6,000 dedicated team members. DRG prides itself on a strong people-first culture that values respect, integrity, passion, accountability, commitment, and teamwork, creating a workplace where each employee feels like part of the DRG Family. The company emphasizes a small company feel despite its large scale operations, fostering an environment that supports growth, opportunity, and development at every level.

The General Manager role at DRG represents a pivotal leadership position within the company, responsible for overseeing the complete operation of one or more restaurant locations. The successful candidate will lead through example, building and developing a high-performing team by providing consistent training, clear direction, and recognition of individual and team achievements. This role demands a strategic leader who can serve as the ultimate decision-maker on all restaurant matters, ensuring outstanding customer service, superior food quality, food safety compliance, and overall operational excellence. The General Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, managing staff, controlling the profit and loss (P&L) statements, and maintaining strict food safety and cleanliness standards. They will also play a crucial role in communicating with field leadership and supporting a positive company culture aligned with DRG's core values.

Starting pay for the General Manager position ranges between $19.50 and $26.25 per hour, depending on experience and availability, with the role typically requiring a 50-hour workweek. DRG offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes specialized programs such as the DRG Cares Grant Program, which assists employees with life challenges and financial hardships, the DRG Savings Marketplace, providing exclusive discounts to employees, and the Employee Assistance Program. In addition, the Live Mas Scholarship Program and various education benefits like GED reimbursement and free second language education are offered to support continuous learning and development. DRG also operates a DailyPay program allowing employees quicker access to their earned wages, alongside various incentives including an employee referral program. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned restaurant leader looking to grow their career within a supportive and expanding company that values team development and operational excellence.
