The position of Restaurant Leader at Alvarado Restaurant Nation is a critical role within the operations department. Reporting directly to the Area Coach, the Restaurant Leader supervises restaurant team members and shift leads, playing a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily restaurant activities. This full-time, non-exempt hourly position offers a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour and is focused on delivering superior customer service and maintaining stringent product quality and cleanliness standards.
As a Restaurant Leader, you will be the face of the restaurant to customers and team members alike. Your leadership responsibilities include motivating and guiding your team to achieve operational excellence, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed, and maintaining a professional and positive image. You are expected to engage proactively with customers, addressing their needs and concerns while continuously seeking opportunities to improve their dining experience.
In this role, you must possess strong supervisory skills to effectively delegate tasks, coordinate workflow, and lead by example through hands-on involvement. You will be responsible for fostering an environment of principled leadership and ethical business practices, taking ownership of the restaurant's financial performance, sales targets, and operational efficiency. Your ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions will be essential in achieving margin goals and business growth.
Moreover, technical expertise in food preparation, safety, and handling, as well as familiarity with restaurant equipment troubleshooting, will be expected. The Restaurant Leader must have a thorough understanding of all product standards and food safety procedures relevant to the company's offerings.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED, alongside proven supervisory experience in food service or retail. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of maintaining financial controls, coaching and training employees, and driving satisfaction among customers and team members. Being a self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset, enthusiasm for the company’s mission and core values, and the ability to independently solve problems are critical personal attributes for success in this role.

Benefits for this position include eligibility for monthly performance bonuses, medical insurance starting the first of the month following 60 days of employment, participation in a 401K retirement plan after one year, two weeks of vacation after one year, and sick leave as required by state law.
