Located in Scottsdale, AZ, this KFC restaurant is seeking a dedicated Restaurant General Manager to lead and inspire the team to deliver outstanding service and operational excellence. The General Manager position is a full-time role tasked with overseeing every aspect of restaurant management from recruitment and training to financial oversight and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in restaurant or retail management, a proven ability to use P&L analysis to drive performance, and possess strong skills in leadership, communication, and strategic planning.

In this role, the General Manager is responsible for handpicking and developing a high-performing team by recruiting top talent and conducting comprehensive training programs. Leading by example, the manager will cultivate a vibrant culture founded on KFC’s core values of equity, inclusion, and belonging. By motivating and mentoring assistant managers, shift supervisors, and team members, the General Manager ensures a cohesive, enthusiastic workforce that consistently exceeds expectations.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for top team members and shift supervisors
  • develop a comprehensive training plan and mentor assistant managers, shift supervisors, and team member trainers
  • recognize and reward outstanding team member performance while fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
  • address and resolve conflicts promptly, maintaining a positive work environment
  • personally engage with customers and swiftly resolve any issues to ensure positive experiences
  • strategically schedule staff to optimize customer service and coach management on KFC brand standards
  • analyze financial performance, manage the budget, and develop strategies to maximize profitability without compromising customer experience
  • stay informed about competitors and exceed their standards including digital presence and loyalty programs
