KFC, one of the world's largest and most recognized fast-food brands, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Restaurant General Manager for its location at 100 W Lake St, Minneapolis, MN. KFC is renowned globally for its finger-licking good fried chicken and a commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and community engagement. This opportunity is with a KFC franchisee, meaning the restaurant is independently owned and operated by a local franchisee responsible for all employment matters. The General Manager plays a pivotal role as the #1 leader of the restaurant, entrusted with the responsibility of driving business success, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will own your restaurant's success metrics and lead a committed team to achieve and surpass these goals. This role demands strong leadership and a passionate commitment to delivering friendly customer interactions, maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere, and ensuring that every meal served is fresh and of the highest quality. You will grow and mentor your KFC family through effective training, development programs, and onboarding of new team members, creating a collaborative and family-oriented work culture.

The position involves comprehensive management duties, including communication of team goals and promotions, partnership with other general managers and area leaders to grow the business, payroll oversight, and employee management through new hire, change, and termination paperwork. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management or related field
  • Ability to lift 25-85 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Able to handle cash accurately
  • Good hearing ability to respond to auditory alarms
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to work in confined spaces
  • Commitment to punctual attendance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of operating procedures and results

Job Duties

  • Own your restaurant's success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
  • Lead the guest experiences in your restaurant that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and fresh meals
  • Grow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team members
  • Lead communications of your team's goals, upcoming promotions, business updates, etc
  • Inspire the overall positive and collaborative family environment
  • Partner with other Restaurant General Managers and Area Leaders to grow and move the business forward
  • Review and submit payroll
  • Complete employee new hire paperwork
  • Complete employee change forms and termination forms
  • Ensure the store is operated in a safe and clean manner at all times
  • Ensure work schedules are adequate to meet customer service requirements but are also cost effective
  • Ensure that the store is operated in compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Perform daily record keeping of the store financial and production activities
  • Maintain documentation as specified by their Area Coach, Director of Operations and Human Resources
