This role is for a Restaurant General Manager (RGM) based in Long Beach, CA, at a busy KFC location. The RGM is responsible for leading the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences while achieving sales and profit targets. This position plays a pivotal leadership role in the daily operations of the restaurant, driving culture, training, and execution of all brand standards. The General Manager ensures strict adherence to company policies such as uniform compliance and professionalism, including prohibiting cellphone use during work hours. The role requires a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, current car insurance, and proficiency with basic computer applications. The RGM must consistently pass all Restaurant Operating Control Center (ROCC) evaluations, manage bank deposits, and be flexible regarding relocation if business needs arise.

Key responsibilities are broad and include operational leadership where the RGM owns the restaurant's success metrics, manages daily operations including food preparation, service, safety, and cleanliness, and ensures compliance with KFC and health regulations. The General Manager also leads marketing promotions and maintains product quality and consistency to elevate guest satisfaction. The role demands strong people leadership skills including recruiting, training, developing shift supervisors and team members, conducting performance reviews and pre-shift meetings, and fostering a supportive, collaborative team environment.
