Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience or combined experience and education
  • Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training
  • Proven track record of successful hiring and retention
  • Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays
  • ServeSafe Certified
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting profit and loss statements
  • Experience recruiting and training team members
  • Proven track record of successful hiring and retention
  • ServeSafe Certified
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Reinforce Border Foods Core Values including accountability, integrity, family, excellence, teamwork, empowerment
  • Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant
  • Build and maintain a strong team that provides great food and friendly customer experience
  • Guide team members and shift leaders ensuring all duties are completed
  • Schedule and deploy the team correctly
  • Monitor team member performance and hold them accountable
  • Ensure quality customer experience by driving fast and friendly service
  • Maintain point of sale system and ensure accuracy
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and guidelines
  • Create unity by building cross-functional relationships
  • Respond to team member questions and resolve employee issues
  • Provide a safe, welcoming place for team members and customers
  • Handle customer complaints and issues effectively
  • Create and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans
  • Utilize and interpret profit and loss statements for financial adjustments
  • Source, hire, and develop team members
  • Conduct new hire orientation and develop training plans
  • Minimize loss through strict cash handling and inventory management
  • Demonstrate efficient labor and waste control
  • Build team capabilities and provide coaching
  • Offer learning and development opportunities
  • Provide career guidance to team members
  • Seek and share ideas fostering personal and business growth
