Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years restaurant or retail experience
  • experience with sales building, P and L statements, recruiting, and training
  • proven track record of successful hiring and retention
  • ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • ServeSafe certified
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • high school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years restaurant or retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • experience in sales building, profit and loss management, recruiting, and training
  • proven success in hiring and retaining staff
  • ability to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ServeSafe certification
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
  • strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee entire restaurant operations
  • build and lead a strong team that provides exceptional customer service
  • enforce Border Foods Core Values of Accountability, Integrity, Family, Excellence, Teamwork, and Empowerment
  • ensure compliance with health and safety standards and legal regulations
  • manage scheduling and performance monitoring of team members
  • maintain point of sale system accuracy and report failures
  • handle customer complaints professionally
  • develop and execute strategic plans for restaurant success
  • manage profit and loss statements to optimize financial outcomes
  • source, hire, train, and orient new team members
  • enforce cash handling and inventory control policies
  • provide coaching and development opportunities for team members
  • foster a positive and safe work environment
