The role being offered is for a Restaurant General Manager who will play a pivotal role in maintaining Shake Shack’s standards of excellence and hospitality while driving business success. This is a leadership position that involves coaching and developing team members, overseeing daily restaurant operations, and managing financial performance. Responsibilities include managing inventory, quality control, safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with local and state health and safety regulations. The General Manager will also be accountable for budget management, payroll, scheduling, and executing company policies effectively. Moreover, this role requires promoting the Shake Shack brand within the local community through events and word-of-mouth engagement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant general management and possess strong leadership skills focused on coaching and team development. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant general management experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the Shack operations
  • demonstrated ability to champion hospitality and motivate team members
  • strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and achieving excellence
  • knowledgeable in all financial aspects of business operations
  • minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities
  • food handler certification, preferred
  • willingness to work flexible hours
