At CoCo Ichibanya San Diego, we are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team. This position is designed as an internship opportunity where the successful candidate will receive hands-on training under experienced management professionals. The role provides a rare chance to learn the intricacies of restaurant operations, including front-of-house service, kitchen workflow coordination, staff supervision, financial management, and customer service excellence. With a competitive wage of $5,000 per month paid hourly and regular evaluations for potential wage increases, this role is ideal for individuals eager to develop a career in hospitality and restaurant management.

The Restaurant Manager will support daily restaurant operations, assisting with opening and closing procedures while ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant function smoothly. You will work closely with both the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless coordination and a high-quality dining experience for guests. Training and motivating staff to provide excellent service, managing inventory and cost controls responsibly, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and handling customer feedback professionally are essential responsibilities of this role. Additionally, collaboration with senior management on promotions, scheduling, and enhancing guest satisfaction will help you build comprehensive management skills.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous restaurant management experience
  • legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
  • dependable and responsible work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • interest in hospitality, food service management, or business operations
  • friendly and positive attitude with strong communication skills

  • previous experience as a manager at a restaurant

  • must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
