Wendy's Franchise is currently hiring for a Restaurant General Manager, a leadership role essential to the successful operation of one of its restaurants located at 11639 Will Odell Ave, Oxford, FL 34484. The General Manager will be responsible for leading and mentoring staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality operations across all areas of the restaurant including drive-thru, dining, and mobile services. Job Requirements

  • Ability to use a headset to take customer orders or give direction
  • Ability to use general restaurant equipment such as warmer, fryer, grill, etc.
  • Ability to come to work promptly and regularly
  • Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively with others
  • Passion for providing courteous service and dealing with guests effectively
  • Interest in developing others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Ability to concentrate and perform duties accurately
  • Ability to learn and apply policies and procedures
  • Ability to respond productively to change and handle other assigned tasks

  • Ability to complete all applicable training programs
  • Ability to work in environments with exposure to noise, heat, cold, or other elements

  • Ability to travel to other restaurants, franchise and corporate meetings as needed
  • Frequent bending and kneeling
  • Regular lifting of 25 to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • College degree is preferred but not required
  • 3-4 years' experience as general manager in the restaurant industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Open and flexible work availability including nights and weekends
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven talent and performance-management skills
  • Computer and Microsoft products skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Job Duties

  • Oversee operations for a designated Wendy's restaurant
  • Develop and mentor restaurant staff
