The Restaurant Leader position at Alvarado Restaurant Nation is a key leadership role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that all operational standards are met or exceeded. As a Restaurant Leader, you will be responsible for upholding rigorous standards related to product quality, service speed, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. You will serve as a role model by projecting a professional image through your own appearance and by ensuring your team members maintain a similar level of professionalism. This leadership role requires proactive engagement with customers to improve their dining experience continually, which in turn helps uphold and enhance the restaurant's reputation within the community.

In this exempt, full-time role, reporting directly to the Area Coach and supervising restaurant team members and shift leads, you will coordinate daily restaurant operations to optimize performance. Key responsibilities include supervising and delegating tasks effectively, providing clear direction and authority, and getting involved hands-on to lead by example. You will demonstrate strong principled leadership and sound business ethics, addressing problems swiftly and implementing solutions that maintain customer satisfaction and operational flow. Additionally, this role involves analyzing financial data accurately, identifying trends, and taking action to meet sales and margin targets. Understanding key business drivers and effectively using this knowledge to boost sales and control costs will be critical to your success.

The Restaurant Leader must be technically proficient in all aspects of food preparation, production, and delivery, with a deep understanding of food handling and safety procedures, along with familiarity with basic restaurant equipment troubleshooting. Your knowledge of company product standards should be thorough enough to train and guide your team to maintain consistency and quality.

The pay range for this position is $45,000 to $55,000 annually, reflecting the importance of the role and the level of responsibility involved. Alvarado Restaurant Nation offers additional benefits, including eligibility for monthly performance-based bonuses, medical insurance starting the first of the month after 60 days, a 401K plan available after one year, vacation time starting after one year, and sick leave provided as per state requirements. The company supports a standard office work environment with physical demands such as sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently, with accommodations available as needed.
