The General Manager role at Chuck E. Cheese is a critical leadership position responsible for setting the tone and energy of the restaurant. This role demands an individual who can inspire a team and ensure every guest leaves truly happy. As a General Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, drive sales, maintain high operation standards, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. You will be involved in daily decision-making regarding time management, staff scheduling, quality control, cleanliness, and other company standards. Your leadership will drive recruitment, training, development, and communication of company and guest expectations to the entire team.

Candidates for this role will enjoy a competitive commission structure based on membership and fun pass sales, paid bi-weekly, with specific commission amounts differing for exempt and non-exempt employees. In this role, you will coach, teach, and motivate your team to maintain the highest levels of guest service and safety, exercise excellent business judgment in cost control, financial accounting, inventory management, and labor management. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of four years experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for running quality shifts and driving sales/performance or proven track record as CEC Manager or Senior Assistant Manager
  • Ability to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during shift
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during shift
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Willingness to work in an environment with flashing/flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, and exposure to non-weather related wet, humid, extreme heat and cold conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow younger per local laws)
  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of four years experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for running quality shifts and driving sales/performance or proven track record as a CEC Manager or Senior Assistant Manager
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
