Job Description

Taco Bell is a renowned fast-food restaurant franchise known for its innovative and flavorful Mexican-inspired menu. Operating franchises across the United States, Taco Bell emphasizes a dynamic work environment and a customer-first approach that delivers great food and exceptional hospitality. The franchise at 1897 Velp Ave, Green Bay, WI, is an independent business owned and operated by a franchisee, meaning employees working for this location will be employed directly by the franchisee rather than Taco Bell Corporation or its affiliates. Franchisees have the autonomy to manage wages and benefits independently, giving them flexibility to cater to their specific market needs.

The General Manager role at the Taco Bell Cantina restaurant on Velp Ave is a leadership position that involves overseeing the entire restaurant operation and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Serving as the leader of the team, the General Manager sets the tone for customer service and hospitality, ensuring every guest receives a friendly and high-quality experience. This position requires a hands-on leader committed to building a strong, motivated team capable of delivering consistency in food quality and service. The successful General Manager will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members, developing tailored training plans, managing employee schedules, and addressing performance issues promptly and fairly.

Moreover, the General Manager is accountable for the restaurant’s financial performance, including budgeting and managing profit and loss statements. This role demands strong organizational and analytical skills to make sound business decisions that align with operational goals and franchise standards. Candidates who excel in this role will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, and a history of developing people within a fast-paced food service or retail environment. The role offers a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career while contributing to the success of a popular and growing dining destination.

Notably, applicants must be at least 21 years old to meet the legal employment requirements of the Taco Bell Cantina. The position requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, lifting, and performing cleaning duties to maintain a clean and inviting restaurant environment. This physically active role suits individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments and who enjoy leading and inspiring teams. If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences while growing your career in restaurant management, this General Manager position at Taco Bell is an excellent opportunity.
