The role of Restaurant General Manager at Taco Bell is designed for an experienced leader passionate about driving operational success while developing a high-performing team. The Restaurant General Manager will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including recruitment, training, team management, financial performance, and customer experience. This role entails working closely with team members at all levels, from new hires to shift leads and assistant managers, ensuring the entire team is aligned with the brand’s standards and values. The General Manager ensures that the restaurant operates effectively to meet financial targets, optimize scheduling for peak customer satisfaction, and maintain high standards across food quality, safety, and cleanliness. This person leads the execution of strategic plans, including product rollouts and digital initiatives, to keep the restaurant competitive in the market. With a workload averaging 50 hours per week — including 40 hours at regular pay and an additional 10 hours compensated at time and a half — this position offers a balanced yet challenging work schedule.

Beyond operational responsibilities, the Restaurant General Manager plays a critical role in creating exceptional customer experiences by personally engaging with guests and addressing any issues promptly. Job Duties

  • Recruit, onboard, and conduct orientations for top Team Members and Shift Leads
  • develop a comprehensive training plan and mentor assistant managers and team trainers
