Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by a franchisee of Taco Bell, one of the leading quick-service restaurant brands that specializes in Mexican-inspired foods such as tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Unlike working directly with Taco Bell Corporation or its affiliates, the selected candidate will be employed exclusively by an independent franchisee owner. These franchisees operate their own businesses, managing all aspects of their restaurant independently and setting their own wage and benefit programs, which can differ from one franchisee to another. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • must pass background check
  • must have reliable transportation
  • able to sweep, mop floors, dust shelves
  • able to lift and carry trash containers
  • able to clean parking lot and grounds
  • able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs and stoop during 80% of shift time
  • basic business math and accounting skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • college or university degree preferred
  • 2-4 years supervisory experience in food service or retail
  • experience with profit and loss responsibility
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • track record of people development
  • positive attitude
  • strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • basic personal computer literacy
  • internal promotion from Assistant General Manager preferred

Job Duties

  • Establish the tone of the work environment and customer hospitality
  • operate the entire restaurant and build a strong team
  • find, hire and develop employees
  • conduct new hire orientation and develop training plans
  • schedule and deploy the team correctly
  • address performance issues
  • assist in resolution of customer issues
  • manage restaurant budget and financial plans
