Job Requirements

  • 2-4 year of experience in related food service management position preferred
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Food manager certification and or ServSafe manager certificate required
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings conferences and training

  • Demonstrated excellent leadership qualities and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Recruiting hiring and onboarding of FOH and BOH team members
  • Conducting and supervising the training and development of FOH and BOH team members
  • Upholding food preparation specifics by ensuring standard operational procedures are followed
  • Communicating training and coaching team members and shift leaders on changes or new procedures processes products promotions or equipment
  • Conducting succession planning 1-on-1s with designated team members
  • Ensuring team members comply with all established standards including personal safety food safety sanitation personal hygiene appearance and uniform
  • Managing daily operations of a restaurant shift
  • Increasing sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
  • Ensuring food quality and availability
  • Maintaining cleanliness organization and stocking in all areas of the restaurant
  • Assisting in the development of team members
  • Maintaining and building sales
  • Conducting and managing inventory
  • Placing food orders and processing invoices
  • Tracking and managing labor and food costs to meet restaurant goals
  • Assisting in the preparation of work schedules for team members
  • Managing daily operations of opening closing and mid shifts
  • Maintaining restaurant equipment in working order and requesting service or repair for issues
  • Maintaining food safety personal safety and sanitation standards according to health department regulations and company standards
  • Complying with and maintaining personal hygiene appearance and uniform standards for all team members
  • Monitoring adherence to all applicable labor laws
  • Performing other projects and duties as assigned by the restaurant general manager
