Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous management experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry
- Ability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 85 pounds
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Hearing within normal range to respond to auditory alarms
- Ability to handle cash transactions
- Competency in reading menus, manuals, and training materials
- Manual dexterity for food packing and cleaning
- Ability to work cooperatively in confined spaces
- Commitment to maintaining a safe environment around high-temperature equipment and hot liquids
- Punctual attendance and a positive attitude including enthusiasm and a smile
- Capability to maintain confidentiality of company operating procedures and results
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a related leadership role
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage payroll and employee documentation
- Experience in scheduling and labor cost management
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
- Ability to mentor and develop team members effectively
- Familiarity with company policies and operational procedures
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of financial record keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information
Job Duties
- Ownership of your restaurant's success metrics and lead restaurant team to reach goals
- Lead the guest experiences in your restaurant that includes friendly interactions, a clean restaurant and fresh meals
- Grow and mentor your KFC family through training, development and onboarding new team members
- Lead communications of your team's goals, upcoming promotions, business updates, etc
- Inspire the overall positive and collaborative family environment
- Partner with other Restaurant General Managers and Area Leaders to grow and move the business forward
- Reviewing and submitting payroll
- Completing employee new hire paperwork
- Completing employee change forms and termination forms
- Ensure the store is operated in a safe and clean manner at all times
- Ensure work schedules are adequate to meet customer service requirements but are also cost effective
- Ensure that the store is operated in compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Daily record keeping of the store financial and production activities
- Maintaining documentation as specified by their Area Coach, Director of Operations and Human Resources
