As a key player in the hospitality industry, the restaurant prides itself on community engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This role is a full-time position, offering competitive compensation aligned with industry standards and opportunities for career advancement within the organization.
The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) serves as the executive leader of the restaurant, responsible for overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the District Manager, the RGM manages a diverse team of 20-45 employees, including an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and various team members. The RGM is primarily accountable for the restaurant’s financial performance, ensuring that profitability targets are met or exceeded through careful management of resources and strategic decision-making.
This leadership role demands a comprehensive skill set, combining operations management, employee development, guest experience oversight, and financial acumen. The RGM drives sales growth by motivating the team to deliver exceptional guest service with speed, accuracy, and friendliness in an immaculate environment. Additionally, the role involves managing guest feedback constructively, responding promptly to any concerns, and implementing action plans to address root causes. Operational responsibilities include labor management by optimizing manager and team member schedules, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Maintaining brand and operational standards is paramount, and the RGM must be ready to step in to fulfill the duties of the Assistant Manager or Shift Coordinators when necessary, illustrating hands-on leadership.
