Financial stewardship is another key responsibility for the GM, who manages inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure cost efficiency and reduce waste. Monitoring labor, food, and beverage costs to maintain profitability is crucial. The GM is also tasked with enforcing operational protocol around opening, operating, and closing procedures and maintaining service speed targets such as drinks served within 2 minutes and food within 2 to 5 minutes, thereby enhancing the overall guest experience.
The position offers a competitive hourly wage with base earnings starting at $100,000 annually, based on a 55-60-hour workweek including overtime. Job Requirements
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a General Manager or senior management in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Proven track record of maintaining operational excellence and cost control
