This position is available within a restaurant independently owned and operated by a KFC franchisee, which means the hired individual will be directly employed by the franchisee responsible for the location. The restaurant general manager role at KFC is a crucial leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant performance, from team management and guest satisfaction to operational controls and financial results.

As the Restaurant General Manager, you will take ownership of your restaurant's success metrics, guiding and inspiring your KFC family to meet and exceed business goals. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to team development, including training, development, and onboarding of new staff members. You will spearhead guest experience initiatives to ensure every visitor receives friendly interactions, enjoys a clean and welcoming environment, and is served fresh meals consistently.

In addition to managing daily operations, you will coordinate communications about team goals, promotional campaigns, and business updates, fostering a positive, collaborative culture within the restaurant. Partnering with other restaurant general managers and area leaders, you will contribute to larger business objectives and growth strategies.

Operational responsibilities include managing payroll, employee paperwork, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards. You will also be responsible for financial record-keeping and ensuring cost-effective scheduling that aligns with customer service demands. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a leadership role in a restaurant or fast food environment
  • Ability to perform some heavy lifting (25-85 pounds)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Hearing within normal range to respond to auditory alarms
  • Ability to handle cash and count money accurately
  • Ability to read menus, manuals, and training materials
  • Manual dexterity for packing food and cleaning
  • Ability to work collaboratively in confined spaces
  • Awareness and practice of safety around high temperature equipment and hot substances
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company procedures
  • Punctual attendance
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Capable of maintaining a safe working environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ownership of restaurant's success metrics and lead team to reach goals

  • Review and submit payroll
  • Complete employee new hire, change, and termination paperwork
  • Ensure safe and clean restaurant operations

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain daily record-keeping of financial and production activities
  • Maintain documentation as required by area coach, director of operations, and human resources
