The Restaurant General Manager position is a key leadership role responsible for running shifts independently while providing strong guidance and support to the entire team. This role requires a motivated leader who can take ownership of daily operations, solve problems proactively, and inspire others to deliver top-quality customer service. Managers will be expected to oversee profit and loss management, employee recruitment and training, inventory control, labor management, and food safety compliance. The position also requires excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills to maintain a positive, efficient work environment. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • pass background check and drug test
  • basic business math and accounting skills
  • able to stock shelves and coolers
  • able to oversee and manage employees and provide direction
  • able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, lift and carry trash containers, and place trash in outside bins
  • able to clean the parking lot and grounds
  • tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and stooping during 90% of shift time
  • valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • college or university degree preferred
  • relevant supervisory experience in food service or retail environments
  • experience with profit and loss responsibility
  • strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • ability to motivate and manage a team
  • customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Establish the tone of the work environment and customer hospitality
  • oversee profit and loss management, cash control and security procedures, inventory, and labor
  • recruit, hire, and develop team members and shift leads
  • conduct new-hire orientation and develop training plans
  • maintain a friendly attitude and strong customer service skills
  • multitask and prioritize tasks
  • ensure food safety and manage team in a fast-paced environment
  • demonstrate patience and positive attitude while delegating and giving instructions
  • make quick and appropriate decisions
