The Restaurant General Manager position at Sodexo is a pivotal role based at Leisure World, a thriving 55+ adult living community located in Silver Spring, MD, which boasts 5,600 homes and a vibrant resident base. This role requires an experienced leader to helm the dining operations across multiple venues, including the newly renovated Terrace Bistro and extensive catering services that support over 8,500 residents. This dynamic position combines operational leadership with innovative marketing, community outreach, and strategic brand development activities. The Manager will be responsible for crafting memorable dining experiences that resonate with the community, driving customer engagement, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
This role offers the chance to lead a passionate team consisting of 4 managers and approximately 20 frontline employees, emphasizing professional growth, collaboration, and accountability. Beyond managing daily operations, the General Manager will spearhead creative marketing campaigns and social media strategies designed to strengthen brand loyalty and elevate the profile of the dining venues. Budget management, revenue growth through strategic planning, and analyzing market trends form key parts of the managerial responsibilities.
