As a Restaurant General Manager at one of our franchised BURGER KING locations, you will play a critical leadership role in sustaining our high standards and delivering the Customer Promise every day. This management position involves overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations including human resources, operational efficiency, and financial performance. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent guest relations by ensuring fast and accurate service, and that all menu items meet Burger King's rigorous quality standards. Safety and security are paramount, so you will ensure that all safety codes and company policies are strictly adhered to within the restaurant. Financial oversight duties include managing inventory, controlling labor costs, reviewing profit and loss statements, and taking actionable steps to optimize restaurant profitability. Responsible for staffing, you will recruit, interview, and hire team members while also conducting performance reviews, administering disciplinary measures when necessary, and motivating staff through effective training programs. All equipment, facilities, and grounds must be maintained to the highest standards using a proactive preventative maintenance system. In addition, you will lead marketing initiatives by implementing both corporate and local campaigns to boost sales and increase brand presence. Job Requirements

  • 4+ years in a management or supervisory capacity in a restaurant or in the retail/hospitality industry
  • Reliable transportation

  • Proven experience in a management or supervisory role in restaurant or retail/hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Financial literacy including budgeting and profit and loss management
  • Ability to motivate and train staff effectively
  • Knowledge of safety and security standards
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs

Job Duties

  • Maintain fast, accurate service and positive guest relations, and ensure products are consistent with company quality standards
  • Ensure safety codes, company safety and security policy are met
  • Assist Profit & Loss management by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate actions
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members
  • Conduct performance appraisals, disciplinary action, motivate and train employees
  • Ensure company standards on equipment, facility, and grounds are maintained by using a preventative maintenance program
  • Ensure food quality and 100% customer satisfaction
  • Ensure complete and timely execution of corporate & local marketing plans
