Job Description

KFC is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain renowned for its distinctive fried chicken recipe and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. With roots dating back to 1952, KFC has grown into one of the world's largest and most beloved quick-service restaurant brands. The company focuses on not just serving delicious food but also building careers, communities, and future leaders within its organization. Known for its iconic branding, innovative menu options, and strong presence in numerous countries, KFC continuously strives to provide a customer-centric atmosphere where quality and service excellence remain top priorities. The brand’s philosophy revolves around fostering a culture that values teamwork, respect, and inclusivity, aiming to create a welcoming environment for both customers and employees alike.

The role of the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at KFC transcends traditional restaurant management. As an RGM, you are entrusted with leading an entire business operation—from managing daily restaurant operations to orchestrating team leadership and enhancing guest experiences. This role demands a visionary leader capable of inspiring and developing a world-class team while driving the restaurant’s financial success and upholding KFC’s brand standards. The RGM acts as the cornerstone of the restaurant, ensuring every aspect, from staffing and training to food quality and customer engagement, is executed with excellence and consistency.

This position is ideal for those passionate about growing talent, fostering a positive and inclusive culture, and continuously improving operational performance. The Restaurant General Manager plays a pivotal role in recruiting, coaching, and retaining team members while addressing workplace challenges professionally and establishing a safe, equitable, and inspiring work environment. Furthermore, the RGM leads all aspects of operational execution, including managing budgets, inventory, labor efficiency, compliance, and implementing new product rollouts effectively.

Financial leadership is another critical aspect of this role. With an emphasis on P&L analysis, the RGM develops strategies to maximize sales, control costs, and enhance profitability. By staying vigilant of the local competitive landscape, you will position your restaurant to outperform competitors through superior service, digital engagement, and fostering guest loyalty. This leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact daily, setting the tone for a high-performing team and an exceptional customer experience within a globally respected brand.
