Since its inception in 2012 with just 30 Taco Bell units, DRG has impressively grown to manage over 240 restaurants across multiple brands, including Taco Bell locations in California, Kansas, Missouri, and Nevada and Arby's outlets in Alaska, California, and Nevada. Employing more than 6,000 team members, DRG prides itself on maintaining a 'small company feel' within a large corporate structure, emphasizing a family-oriented work environment and fostering strong connections among employees. The company embraces core values such as respect, integrity, passion, accountability, commitment, and teamwork, which are integrated into daily operations and leadership principles.
The General Manager role at DRG is an exceptional leadership opportunity aimed at experienced professionals eager to contribute to a fast-growing enterprise with abundant opportunities for career advancement. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of building and nurturing high-performing teams through effective training and skill development, setting clear and consistent expectations, and recognizing both individual and collective accomplishments. The General Manager oversees all aspects of restaurant operations, including recruiting, training, managing profit and loss, and ensuring that every restaurant under their leadership delivers excellent customer service, high-quality food, and a clean, safe environment.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the General Manager serves as a critical communication link between field leadership and restaurant teams, fostering a culture aligned with DRG's values. Responsibilities extend to maintaining food safety standards, restaurant cleanliness, and maximizing profitability while ensuring an engaged and motivated staff. The position involves accountability for restaurant performance and decision-making authority within the restaurant. Open and consistent communication, respect for team members, meaningful performance feedback, and strict adherence to company policies are paramount.
This role demands a flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays, with an expected 50-hour work week. Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and availability. DRG also offers a comprehensive benefits package featuring unique programs such as the DRG Cares Grant Program, Savings Marketplace discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, scholarships, and education benefits, along with innovative payroll options like DailyPay.
Overall, the General Manager position at DRG offers the chance to lead in a vibrant, growing company dedicated to employee growth and success while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
