Job Description

KFC, one of the world's most beloved fast-food brands, is not just about serving mouth-watering fried chicken but also about building careers, fostering community connections, and growing future leaders. Founded with a commitment to quality, passion for customer service, and innovation, KFC has solidified its place in the global restaurant industry by delivering consistent and delightful dining experiences to millions daily. As a part of the Yum! Brands family, KFC offers employees the chance to be a part of a recognized global powerhouse in the quick-service restaurant sector, driven by a culture of respect, inclusion, and opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Joining KFC as a Restaurant General Manager (RGM) means stepping into a pivotal leadership role where you are entrusted with more than just the daily operations of a restaurant — you are leading a business. This hands-on role requires a visionary and strategic leader devoted to managing a high-performing team, driving profitability, and shaping an outstanding guest experience. The RGM is the heartbeat of the restaurant, responsible for recruiting, developing, and inspiring all team members, from entry-level crew to shift supervisors, cultivating a positive work environment where accountability, equity, and inclusion thrive.

In this role, you will take ownership of every operational aspect including staffing, scheduling, cleanliness, food safety, and customer service standards. You will lead initiatives that enhance the restaurant’s performance, ensure superior product quality, and consistently meet KFC’s high brand standards. By utilizing digital tools and data analytics, you will monitor financial performance to develop actionable plans that maximize sales, control costs, and increase profitability. Managing budgets, inventory, and labor efficiency with precision will be essential to your success.

Your leadership will directly impact the restaurant’s culture and community presence. You will be a visible and approachable leader during crucial service times, resolving customer concerns and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service. Your commitment to employee growth through coaching, personalized development plans, and recognition will foster career advancement opportunities and increase team morale.

KFC offers a supportive and engaging work environment that values adaptability and innovation, especially in leading teams through change. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational expertise to compete effectively in the local market, leveraging digital engagement and guest loyalty programs. This is a full-time leadership opportunity with competitive base pay plus bonus eligibility, comprehensive benefits, and an array of professional development opportunities designed to help you thrive and build a meaningful career.

If you are passionate about leading with purpose, growing people, and making a lasting impact in a globally recognized brand, this leadership opportunity at KFC provides an unmatched platform. Become more than a manager — be a mentor, a leader, and an integral part of a legacy in the making. Your next chapter starts here with KFC, where your career growth and leadership journey is supported every step of the way.
