Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in the premium live entertainment infrastructure and services sector, specializing in a broad platform that includes venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG manages and owns an impressive portfolio of seven world-class venues and serves an extensive client roster of iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions spread across four continents. The company's commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned it as a top-tier player within the live-event industry, aiming to deliver exceptional experiences to guests and partners alike.
The Restaurant Floor Manager role at Oak View Group embodies leadership and operational expertise within a dynamic hospitality environment. This position is integral to ensuring superior guest service and smooth, efficient daily front-of-house restaurant operations. As the Restaurant Floor Manager, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team including servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and additional support staff, fostering a positive team culture that upholds OVG's high service standards.
This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, reflective of the critical responsibilities and leadership expectations associated with the role. It includes comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, and paid time off covering vacation, sick days, and 11 recognized holidays.
In this role, you will serve as the primary leader during service periods, which include lunch, dinner, special events, and other peak service times. Your leadership will ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction by managing and supporting front-of-house staff, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, and maintaining consistent service quality across shifts. You will also conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, updates on menus, promotions, and pertinent event details to your team.
Beyond daily operations, the Restaurant Floor Manager collaborates closely with culinary and beverage teams to ensure seamless coordination in service delivery. The role demands attention to operational details such as staffing assignments, floor plan management, labor deployment, inventory control, supply management, and cost oversight. You will also be responsible for enforcing compliance with food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and workplace safety protocols.
Key administrative tasks include managing accurate cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) procedures, and thorough shift reporting. Maintaining a clean, organized, and guest-ready dining environment is crucial, as well as supporting special functions like private events, buyouts, receptions, and convention-related activities hosted at OVG's venues. Acting as manager-on-duty when assigned, you will be the vital frontline leader ensuring business continuity and excellence during operational hours.
Oak View Group values diversity and inclusion as foundational to its ongoing innovation and success. The company fosters workplaces where employees from varied backgrounds can thrive and contribute meaningfully. OVG is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating inclusive environments that mirror the communities they serve and advance the sports and live entertainment industry positively. This position will remain open until September 25, 2026, offering a great opportunity for hospitality professionals passionate about leadership and delivering outstanding guest experiences within a global leader in live entertainment venues.
