White Lodging is a distinguished hospitality company that develops and operates a portfolio of award-winning premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants located in some of the country’s most vibrant and dynamic cities. One of White Lodging’s new ventures is the Hotel Trinity, an Autograph Collection boutique hotel set to open in late 2026 in downtown Austin, Texas. This luxury boutique hotel will feature 258 rooms and will be situated in the historic 6th Street entertainment district next to Antone's. As the only Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in the city center, Hotel Trinity promises to be a private urban refuge blending local heritage with modern luxury.

Anchoring Hotel Trinity is Yacht Club, the hotel’s signature fine dining seafood restaurant. Yacht Club is designed as a coastal-inspired eatery that pairs high-quality fresh seafood and oyster bar experiences with sophisticated steakhouse offerings. The restaurant features seasonal menus, an elevated wine and beverage program, and a lively social ambiance that is intended to become a premier destination for both locals and hotel guests. Yacht Club aims to balance polished and attentive service with an energetic atmosphere, creating one of Austin’s most anticipated upscale culinary experiences.

The role on offer is that of Restaurant Executive Chef, a leadership position responsible for opening and managing all culinary operations at Yacht Club and Hotel Trinity. This is an exceptional chance to build a fine dining restaurant from the ground up, including hiring, mentoring, and developing a high-performing culinary team. The Executive Chef will be instrumental in shaping the organizational culture, setting culinary standards, and establishing operational excellence to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and business success.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced executive chef or executive sous chef with a passion for seafood-forward cuisine, a keen eye for kitchen operations, and the ambition to build a lasting and successful restaurant venture. This role demands a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational prowess to lead a high-volume, upscale restaurant effectively. The Executive Chef will also be a key collaborator, working closely with culinary peers, beverage experts, and hotel leadership to deliver a seamless dining experience that aligns with the brand’s vision.

This position offers a competitive compensation package starting at $95,000 plus bonus, reflecting the level of responsibility and impact associated with this key leadership role. Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing multiple leaders across diverse front-of-house and back-of-house teams
  • strong background in fine dining or upscale restaurant operations
  • deep knowledge of wine and food pairings, Sommelier certification preferred but not required
  • experience managing multiple meal periods
  • prior oversight of In-Room Dining operations in a hotel setting is a plus
  • process-driven approach with exceptional organizational and operational execution skills
  • demonstrated success in developing people, driving team culture, and reducing turnover

Job Duties

  • Lead all aspects of restaurant operations to deliver a seamless, elevated fine dining experience
  • recruit, direct, and develop a team of managers and front-of-house associates, fostering a culture of excellence
  • drive operational performance through consistent execution of systems, processes, and luxury service standards
  • oversee full financial performance including managing budgets, forecasting, P&L, and strategic initiatives
  • partner closely with culinary and beverage teams to ensure menu quality, operational flow, and a strong wine and beverage culture
  • champion guest satisfaction and brand reputation through service excellence and swift resolution of guest concerns
  • collaborate cross-functionally with corporate, marketing, and hotel leadership to align on promotions, activations, and business development goals
