The available position is a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category, based at the Clayton, Missouri location. This commission-based role comes with full benefits, including free parking and employee meals, enhancing the overall employee experience. In this role, the successful candidate will act as a key liaison between the hotel and group coordinators or hosts prior to events and functions. This involves making introductions, reviewing banquet event orders to analyze guest information, determining proper setup, managing timelines, and addressing specific guest needs such as buffets and action stations. The role requires a proactive approach to fulfilling special banquet event arrangements and ensuring that all company and safety policies are strictly adhered to. Candidates who possess previous event sales experience and prefer weekend and holiday availability will find themselves well-positioned to excel in this dynamic environment.

The role also demands excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and the capacity to foster positive working relationships across teams to achieve collective goals. Physical demands include standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods, as well as the ability to safely move, lift, and handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The candidate must have the ability to move through narrow and elevated spaces and navigate various surfaces such as stairs and ramps.
