Job Description
Café Zupas is a rapidly growing restaurant chain known for serving house-made and globally-inspired soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts prepared fresh daily in their next-generation kitchens. Since opening the first location in 2004, Café Zupas has expanded to over 85 kitchens across 8 states, continuing to join more communities each year. The company prides itself on using real, whole food made in-house with high-quality ingredients and fostering a culture where team members and guests come first. Café Zupas is built on the belief that the team is key to making the concept incredible, and this philosophy drives every decision they make.
Working at Café Zupas means joining a brand that not only focuses on delivering fresh and delicious food but also on building a positive and energetic workplace culture centered around mentorship, growth, and gratitude. The company offers comprehensive training and a clear career path, supporting employees to develop professionally while maintaining a balanced life with set schedules, two days off per week, closures on Sundays and holidays, and a fun, modern work environment.
The role of District Manager at Café Zupas is a dynamic leadership position designed for professionals with multi-unit management experience. District Managers work closely with their assigned restaurant leaders, spending several days at a time within individual locations to provide on-the-spot direction, coaching, and feedback. The position requires overseeing performance metrics such as sales, labor, and food costs across multiple locations to drive results while cultivating a culture of positivity and gratitude within the teams. District Managers play an essential role in talent development by identifying and mentoring future leaders and collaborating with Talent Mentors to ensure proper staffing levels.
Café Zupas emphasizes a supportive and collaborative work environment where integrity and respect for others are fundamental. The District Manager should bring an enthusiastic and driven attitude to handle fast-paced settings while adapting fluidly to new systems and processes. This position offers competitive pay, a robust benefits package including 401K and paid time off, free meals, and participation in an annual international incentive trip, all underscoring the company’s commitment to rewarding and supporting its leaders.
Becoming a District Manager at Café Zupas is an opportunity to lead in a thriving restaurant group that challenges the status quo in the industry through innovation and care for its people. It is perfect for someone passionate about developing teams, driving operational excellence, and fostering a positive culture that fuels both business growth and employee satisfaction. Join Café Zupas and become part of an adventurous and expanding brand dedicated to nourishing both guests and team members alike.
