The role of a Team Member at Wonder is pivotal in bringing the company’s vision to life. Team Members help prepare menu items to Wonder’s high standards, ensuring that every dish meets strict quality and safety guidelines. They maintain clean and organized workstations, manage inventory and portion accuracy, and ensure each order is correct before it leaves the kitchen. This position involves direct interaction with guests, including warm greetings, assisting with orders, pickups, payments, and support with the Wonder app. Team Members also engage in light local marketing activities and support meal-kit and delivery operations, helping to maintain dispatch accuracy.

A Team Member’s responsibilities extend to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant, washing and restocking cookware and utensils, handling trash and recycling properly, and reporting any equipment issues promptly. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude as members support each other and contribute to a high-energy work environment. Wonder offers full-time and part-time positions based in Astoria, with a competitive pay rate of $17.50 per hour and additional premiums for overnight shifts and certified roles such as Trainer or Certified Team Member.
