Job Description
This job opportunity is with an independently owned and operated restaurant franchise, affiliated with the well-known Jack in the Box brand but run by a private franchisee. Unlike corporate-owned locations, this particular restaurant is managed wholly by the independent franchisee who handles day-to-day operations and employment matters. This means the employer for this role will be the franchisee rather than Jack in the Box Inc., which allows for a unique work environment potentially different from corporate standards. Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- able to stand for extended periods
- capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- willing to comply with franchisee’s employment policies
- able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- legal authorization to work in the country
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or fast-food environment is advantageous
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- strong work ethic and reliability
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- greet and serve customers promptly and courteously
- prepare and assemble menu items according to standard recipes
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and dining areas
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- handle cash register and payment transactions accurately
- assist with inventory control and stock replenishment
- adhere to all health and safety regulations
