This part-time, non-management Food and Beverage culinary position offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The role centers on the preparation and cooking of high-quality food items that meet The Ritz-Carlton’s superior culinary standards, contributing to the overall dining experience of guests. The successful candidate will join a motivated team where continuous learning and development are encouraged, and employee recognition and wellness programs are prioritized. In this role, your responsibilities will include preparing fresh ingredients according to recipes, timely cooking of menu items, ensuring food quality and safety through proper taste and temperature checks, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen environment. You will also be expected to use kitchen equipment responsibly and safely. This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
The Ritz-Carlton seeks candidates with excellent teamwork skills, attention to detail, a positive attitude, and an outgoing personality. Prior kitchen experience is considered a strong advantage but is not mandatory. A high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least one year of relevant work experience are required. Safety training and certification will be provided before employment.
