Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • previous experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • food handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • strong work ethic and reliability
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • previous cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or other back of house experience is beneficial

Job Duties

  • prepare food items according to menu recipes and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked during service
  • ensure proper health procedures are followed in food preparation
  • maintain standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health in the kitchen
  • assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality food service
  • continuously learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and menu changes
