As a vital member of Life Time’s culinary team, the Restaurant Cook collaborates closely with other kitchen staff including the sandwich and salad stations to ensure smooth food production and efficient service. The position requires the ability to work extended periods in a stationary or mobile fashion within the kitchen, often bending and lifting up to 20 pounds. Required certifications include ServSafe within 90 days of hire and CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days, emphasizing Life Time’s commitment to safety and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
  • ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
  • CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience preferred
  • Experience prepping recipes preferred

Job Duties

  • Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro including stocking supplies maintaining cleanliness ensuring safety of kitchen
  • Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness including sweeping mopping cleaning kitchen equipment and washing dishes
  • Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
  • Follows recipes to ensure consistency freshness and quality of ingredients while preparing food
