The Restaurant Cook position is an integral role within Life Time's Dining Services, responsible for preparing healthy, fresh, and flavorful food options for members in a fast-paced, engaging environment. Working closely alongside health-minded teammates, the Restaurant Cook must adhere to strict food safety standards while ensuring menu items are prepared consistently according to recipe guidelines. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
- ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service preferred
- Experience prepping recipes
Job Duties
- Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen safety
- Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
- Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
- Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food
