Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
  • Previous experience in kitchen or food preparation preferred
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef or other back of house (BOH) experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • Ensure food preparation meets hospitality and service standards
  • Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked
  • Follow proper health procedures and safety regulations
  • Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health
  • Work efficiently to meet quantity and deadline requirements
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth kitchen operations
