Job Requirements

  • No previous experience required
  • Ability to stand and walk extensively for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • Ability to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to comply with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Must wear proper uniform and maintain good personal hygiene

  • Ability to follow company recipes and preparation procedures
  • Strong communication skills for team coordination

Job Duties

  • Prepares cooking items according to company recipes and standards
  • Reports to work well-groomed and in proper uniform practicing good personal hygiene
  • Uses, maintains and cleans all kitchen equipment plus preparation and storage areas
  • Stocks and rotates products on line to ensure they are within shelf life standards
  • Controls food cost by ensuring accurate portioning and proper food preparation
  • Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, coolers, and storage areas
  • Communicates with management and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies, equipment, and safety problems
