Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in cooking or related kitchen roles beneficial
  • Willingness to obtain Food Handlers certification if not already certified
  • Ability to work full time or part time as needed
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Good physical stamina for kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef, or other back of house role preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to menu recipes and special dietary or nutritional restrictions
  • Determine food and supplies needed to keep kitchen stocked during service
  • Follow proper health procedures and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Ensure timely preparation of food to meet quantity and deadline requirements
  • Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health
  • Assist with inventory management and kitchen organization
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
