The Restaurant Clerk position at El Super #29 in Escondido, California, is an integral role within the Store Operations Team. Job Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions product labels product pricing codes shelf tags short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required
Availability to work nights and weekends
Basic PC and Outlook skills preferred
Retail management certificate preferred

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to respond effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence
Basic PC and Outlook skills preferred
Retail management certificate is a plus
