El Super is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join their Store Operations Team as a Restaurant Clerk at their Phoenix location on W. Thomas Road. This role plays a critical part in delivering a memorable customer experience by preparing and presenting grilled and hot food items with precision and high standards. The Restaurant Clerk is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and an inviting atmosphere within the food service area, ensuring that all food preparation aligns with company guidelines. The position offers a starting pay rate of $16.50 per hour and requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, reflective of the store’s operational needs.

In this role, the successful candidate will interact directly with customers, helping to uphold El Super’s reputation for outstanding customer service and quality food offerings. Candidates must have the capability to follow instructions carefully, comprehend various product labels and pricing codes, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Physical demands include regularly lifting and moving products weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds, requiring a moderate level of physical fitness. Additionally, possession of a Food Handler Card or an equivalent certification is mandatory due to the nature of food preparation and handling involved in the role.
