Employment at Kingsmill Resort provides the opportunity to be part of a team that is passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional food production, superior guest service, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The role of Restaurant Chef de Cuisine at Kingsmill Resort is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service within the resort's key dining outlet. This leadership position entails supervising all phases of food production and service directly related to the restaurant to ensure that all guests receive outstanding culinary experiences. The Chef de Cuisine is responsible for both quality and quantity control of food production while managing staffing levels and payroll costs to achieve operational efficiency and profitability. Beyond managing day-to-day operations, the Chef de Cuisine will lead training programs for staff to maximize productivity, minimize waste through efficient food production, and uphold the resort’s code of ethics and safety regulations. This role demands a combination of culinary expertise, leadership skills, operational management, and a deep commitment to guest satisfaction. The Chef de Cuisine will also be evaluated based on guest satisfaction surveys focusing on food quality, presentation, menu selection, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. This full-time position is based at Kingsmill Resort and requires flexibility in working hours to meet business demands and ensure a seamless dining operation. Ultimately, this role is designed for a culinary professional who thrives in a vibrant, high-pressure environment and is dedicated to inspiring and motivating a team to deliver excellence in every dish served.
