Job Description

This opportunity is for a part-time Restaurant Cashier position at Momosan Ramen by Morimoto, located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves managing all aspects of monetary transactions, validating payment methods, completing sales transactions, and dispensing change when necessary, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. You will also be responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness at the checkout area, keeping necessary supplies like receipt paper stocked, and using the venue's primary point of sale system to keep track of restaurant tables' orders.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.00 per hour, with the added benefit of tipped earnings, allowing you to increase your income based on your guest interactions. Job Duties

  • Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders, monetary situations, and charges, validating methods of payment, completing transactions, and providing accurate change, documentation, and receipts, and dispense the accurate amount if needed
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts
  • Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments
  • Clean up checkout area and keep organized
  • Keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked
  • Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables' orders using the venue’s primary point of sale system
