The role of Restaurant Captain/Assistant Manager at Supreme Dumplings is a pivotal leadership position that supports the General Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant. This role involves enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring the team’s continuous training, and guaranteeing that guests receive exceptional service. The Restaurant Captain not only leads by example but also energizes and motivates the team to meet and exceed operational standards consistently. With an hourly wage ranging from $35 to $40, determined by experience, skills, and internal equity, this position offers competitive compensation. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of handling multiple responsibilities, such as managing guest interactions, maintaining food quality, optimizing food costs, coordinating staffing and schedules, and resolving operational challenges swiftly. Candidates will also be involved in training programs, quality control, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. The position includes comprehensive training lasting 6 to 8 weeks in Seattle prior to opening. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, food service, or a related field
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in variable temperatures and around chemicals, smoke, or airborne particles
