The position of Restaurant Busser/Server Assistant plays a critical support role within our busy dining room. This role is essential to maintaining an efficient, smooth, and enjoyable dining experience for our guests by ensuring that the dining areas are clean, well-organized, and promptly prepared for each seating. The Busser/Server Assistant works closely with servers to enhance the overall service flow, responding quickly to requests for water refills, bread, and other table items, thereby allowing servers to focus more on food and beverage delivery. This position thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to anticipate the needs of guests and the serving team.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30-40 lbs for extended periods
  • Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food handler certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently
  • Assist servers with food delivery, beverage refills, and guest requests
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms
  • Refill water, bread, and other table service items as needed
  • Ensure tables are properly set according to restaurant standards
  • Support overall flow of service to enhance the guest experience
  • Maintain stock of linens, glassware, and service supplies
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with opening and closing side work duties
