Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer and personal services skills
- Strong menu knowledge
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to maintain the highest standards of hygiene
- Knowledge of service ware, setting tables, and proper removal of soiled service ware
Job Duties
- Clean up spilled food, drinks and broken dishes, and remove empty bottles and trash
- Carry food, dishes, trays, and silverware from kitchens and supplies departments to serving counters
- Carry trays from tables and booths with soiled dishes, glassware and silverware to kitchen and dish room
- Fill beverage and ice dispensers
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays
- Replenish supplies of food and equipment at steam tables and service bars
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes, and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
- Demonstrate sense of urgency when greeting guests and turning tables
- Assist in running food to tables and lounge
- Assist with room service orders to guest rooms when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
